Think Happy. Live Happy. is a for-profit social enterprise devoted to sustaining human life through our Mental Health First Aid Kit. Providing tools that resource the internal self-healing process. The kit was crafted on our curriculum and can be utilized as three-step training. E3: Educate. Enrich. Elevate. My approach to providing accessible and effective treatment solutions. The physical manifestation of E3 is crafted to target self-sabotage and be utilized as a mental health first aid toolkit, workshop, or training course.
History of TH.LH.
January 14th, 2012 was the day Erica's personal self-healing journey began after she suffered the sudden death of her mother. That, In addition to the absence of a father since birth, resulted in a life that lacked guidance, care, or the normal basic needs provided by parents. Life became one traumatic experience after another. Physical, sexual, psychological, and emotional trauma occurred in her relationships and environment. As a result, she became consumed by the symptoms of the mental health issues that these experiences created. Understanding that these aren’t ideal life circumstances. God had a plan for Erica’s life and anointed her to go down a better path.
Fast forward four words she used to start and affirm her self-healing journey, set the tone of her day, and treat her mental health issues. “Think Happy. Live Happy.” evolved into a social enterprise devoted to sustaining human life. This mission is carried out by way of E3: Educate. Enrich. Elevate. A curriculum served as a mental health first aid kit, utilized as treatment solution to prevent suicide and resource the internal healing process. The curriculum enables individuals to live a elvated more healthier lifestyle.
After her realization that the source of her suffering and symptoms was from traumatic experiences. She said this: "My mental health became a priority to me after a suicide attempt, I was forced to take better care of myself and create a more sustainable lifestyle. I firmly believe that mental health is a currency and in order to be sustained there have to be resources in place to make deposits into our lives."
